“LOCKDOWN LIFE”
International Photography Exhibition-Competition
NOTICE
Art.1 – PURPOSE
The EcoRinascimento cultural association invites you to participate in the “Lockdown Life” Photo Contest.
The photographs will be exhibited in an exhibition in the Parco d’Arte Pazzagli in Florence.
The Exhibition will be from 19 June to 30 September 2021.
In case of lockdown, the exhibition will be postponed to the first useful date, and in the meantime a virtual exhibition will be created on our site, with videos of the authors.
The photographs will be a testimony of the particular period we are experiencing.
They will be a document of life during the partial and total lockdowns we are going through.
The feelings experienced, the places lived, the relationship with other people and with our pets, which filled the moments of solitude and isolation.
A competition that invites you to face this period with creativity as well
The competition is divided into 3 categories:
– Urban landscapes
– People
– Pet, companion animals
Awards will be given for each category.
Competition deadline 1June 2021 (registration for the competition and sending of photo files)
Exhibition opening 19 June 2021.

Art. 2 – ADMISSION CRITERIA
The competition is open to all, without limits of age, sex and nationality.
Each competitor can participate with one or more works.
Competitors can participate individually or in groups.
Participation in the Exhibition-Competition provides for a registration fee of € 20 for each work in competition, to partially cover the costs of managing and organizing the event.
A work can consist of a single photo or a series of photos (maximum 4 photos)
For works carried out in groups, the registration will be made out to the group leader.
For those who wish to be included in the Catalog, the registration fee is € 50 including the first work and € 20 for each subsequent work.
This type of registration entitles you to a copy of the catalog.
For the exhibition, the photographs must be printed on media suitable for outdoor exposure.
You can send the work already printed on plastic or metal support,
or you can send the file to us and we will print it on plexiglass at one of our trusted suppliers (the print will be your property and you can collect it in person or by courier.)
The cost of printing on plexiglass varies according to the format:
– € 30 size 50x25cm
– € 60 size 50 × 100 cm
– 100 € size 100x100cm

Participation in the Exhibition-Competition does not give the right to compensation and / or refunds of any kind.
Art. 3 – AWARDS
All the works entered will participate in the exhibition, excluding works deemed offensive or harmful.In this regard, the EcoRinascimento Association reserves the unquestionable right to select the works that will participate in the Competition Exhibition.
The first classified in each category will be decreed by a technical jury. The first classified in each category will be awarded certificates of recognition. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Art. 4 – CATEGORIES
The authors of the photos are responsible for publishing places and people.
The competition is divided into 3 categories:
1) URBAN LANDSCAPES: free photographic interpretation of urban spaces with or without people, during the old and new partial or total lockdowns.
2) PEOPLE: life during the lockdown, the feelings experienced, the places lived, the relationship with other people, new habits, traditional work adapted to new needs, smart-working, and everything that strikes the author .
3) PETS: life with our pets, which filled the moments of solitude and isolation. The walks allowed, and everything that struck you about your animal friends.
Art.5 – REGISTRATION FEE
Participation in the Exhibition-Competition provides for a registration fee of € 20 for each work in competition, to partially cover the costs of managing and organizing the event.

Competitors must keep a copy of the payment. The registration fee is non-refundable.
Art. 6 – TERMS AND METHOD OF REGISTRATION ONLINE MEMBERSHIP

Send the registration form together with the following documents:
– Brief description of the work and Biography for a maximum of 800 characters
– Photographs participating in the competition in high resolution (jpg format, 300 dpi), accompanied by category of participation and caption (author, title, year, dimensions BxHxL).
– Artists must send by e-mail the receipt of payment of the registration fee for each work in competition. For works carried out in groups, the registration will be made out to the group leader.
– Send a 3-minute video or audio of the author describing the work. Or a 3-minute text that we will read in the video describing the work.
– For the realization of the catalog, the Artists must send the photo they want to publish via e-mail.
Important: To register for the Competition, send only the photograph, and not the printed work.
The registration form must be completed in its entirety and sent by e-mail, under penalty of exclusion from the competition.
Payment of the registration fee can be made by bank transfer, PostePay or Western Union.

Art. 7 – LOCATION
The collective exhibition will be held in the Pazzagli Art Park in Florence, in Via Sant’Andrea a Rovezzano 5, Florence.
In the event of a new lockdown, an on-line exhibition and video will be created in which the authors will describe their works.
The Exhibition in the Parco Pazzagli will be postponed to the first post-lockdown date.
The Enzo Pazzagli Art Park is an important Contemporary Art Park in Tuscany, in which there are over 250 works by Maestro Enzo Pazzagli.
The park covers about 24,000 square meters, surrounded by a beautiful landscape and bordered by the Arno.
The park itself is a work of Land Art, 300 cypresses create one of the largest living sculptures in the world entitled “The Trinity”, as they form three faces. A work that can be admired in all its grandeur (15,000 square meters) only by looking at it from above or on Google Earth, but which can also be appreciated by walking among the trees.
Art. 8 – PHASES AND DEADLINES
Deadline of the competition 1 June 2021 (for those who request printing on plexiglass we recommend that you send the photos to be printed at least one month before)
For the Exhibition in the Park, the works must arrive in the Park and be installed the week before the start of the Exhibition.
The days of preparation will be communicated as the inauguration date approaches. (If it is necessary to arrive of the works in days before or after those established, contact EcoRinascimento to agree on a date)
The material, transport, installation, any insurance and collection of the works are the responsibility of the author.
Competitors who want to send their works can communicate it by e-mail and we will send them the contact details for the shipment.
Shipping costs (round trip), packaging, installation and insurance of the works will be borne and by the individual competitors. If the author wishes, we can sell his works.
The Artist has the right to donate his work to the EcoRinascimento Association.
Art. 9 – JURY AND SELECTION
The EcoRinascimento Association reserves the unquestionable right to select the works that will participate in the Competition Exhibition.
A Technical Jury will decide the first classified in each Category.
The composition of the jury will be announced in the coming months.
Art. 10 – CATALOG
The catalog can be purchased by visitors to the Park and online.
A copy will be given to artists who have requested to be included in the catalog and who have paid the fee for the insertion.
For the realization of the catalog, the Artists must send the photo they want to publish via e-mail.
Authors will be able to collect the catalog at the end of the exhibition.
On request, the Artists can buy advertising pages in the catalog (For information contact EcoRinascimento)
Additional copies of the catalog can be purchased with a contribution of 40€ for each copy. They can also be purchased online by sending an e-mail to the EcoRinascimento Association, which will provide the payment details. (Shipping costs are borne by the buyer).
Art. 11 – LIABILITY
The authors of the photos are responsible for publishing places and people.
They must have the consent of the people portrayed.
And they must have the authorization to photograph certain places, if required.
The author will be responsible for the releases issued by the photographed subjects, effectively freeing the Association from any resulting responsibilities and obligations.
The authors of the photos must indemnify and hold harmless the Association from any claims made by third parties against them in relation to the places photographed.

The authors of the photos must ensure compliance with all current legislation on copyright and intellectual property.
The EcoRinascimento Cultural Association, while ensuring the utmost care and custody of the works received, declines all responsibility for any theft, fire or damage of any kind to the works that may occur during the stages of the event.
Any insurance request must be signed by the Author himself. The material, transport, shipping, installation, any insurance and collection of the works are the responsibility of the author.
Art. 12 – CONSENT
Participants grant EcoRinascimento the authorization to process personal data, pursuant to art. 13 of the GDPR (EU regulation 2016/679), also for the purpose of inclusion in the EcoRinascimento databases.
With the consent of the Author, the works on display may be sold by the EcoRinascimento Association to interested visitors, and preferably delivered to them at the end of the exhibition, (unless otherwise requested by the buyers and in agreement with the author)
The price of the work will be agreed with the author. 50% of the sale will go to the EcoRinascimento Association, which will do its utmost to promote and sell the works.
The proceeds from the sales will be used to finance cultural initiatives and organizational expenses of the EcoRinascimento Association.
Participants grant EcoRinascimento the rights to reproduce the works for the organization’s communication, promotion and activity needs for publication in the catalog,in social media and in the dedicated section of the website www.ecorinascimento.com, in accordance with the laws relating to the right of author.
This announcement is drawn up in Italian and translated into other languages.
In the event of a conflict between the original drafted in a foreign language and the original drafted in Italian, the parties will prevail and the one drafted in Italian will prevail.
EcoRinascimento will have the right to make a final decision on anything not specified in the announcement.
The right to modify this announcement is also preserved if necessary for organizational needs.
Membership and participation in the award imply the unconditional acceptance of this announcement in its entirety.
